Future work

Establish a priority list of additional facilities and features to add to the software tools for statistical disclosure control on microdata and tabular data, considering especially usability aspects of different production and working environments.
Linked to the activities mentioned at point 3 and 2 we will establish a list of features that need attention in the near future. Both with respect to research items as well as practical extensions to the ARGUS software.
To discuss the topic progress on the handbook (topic 2) and the priority list we will organise a 2-day project work meeting half-way the CENEX.
A list of items that will be reviewed for the priority list will be:
  • Research on micro data protection methods
  • Research on risk models to be used in SDC
  • Software needs for micro data
  • Research on tabular data protection (methods/ optimisation-computational aspects)
  • Software needs for tabular data
  • Research on various modalities of remote access to microdata and OnSite centres
  • Software needs for remote access
